What the VL-120C Delivers on Set
120W COB Output — 20,700 Lux at 1 Metre
The high-efficiency COB (Chip-on-Board) LED produces powerful, uniform illumination at 120W. With an output of up to 20,700 lux at 1 metre, the VL-120C is suitable for key lighting, filling studio spaces, and illuminating subjects during outdoor shoots in shaded or overcast conditions.
Full RGB with HSI Control and 20 FX Modes
Beyond standard white light, the VL-120C offers full 360-degree hue control through its HSI system. Adjust hue from 0–360°, saturation from 0–100%, and intensity from 0–100% to create colourful backgrounds, mood lighting, and stylised visual effects.
Its 20 built-in lighting effects include candle, lightning, police, and party effects, helping you create atmospheric and cinematic content without additional lighting equipment.
Stepless CCT from 2700K to 6500K — CRI >95
The adjustable colour temperature range of 2700K to 6500K supports warm tungsten-style interiors and daylight-balanced lighting conditions. With a CRI greater than 95, the light provides accurate colour reproduction for skin tones, fabrics, and products. Stepless adjustments are available through the onboard control knob or the Ulanzi Connect app.
Dual Power — V-Mount for Location, DC for Studio
The integrated V-Mount battery plate supports a standard 14.8V V-Mount battery, sold separately, for portable outdoor and location shooting. For studio use, the 19V 6.3A DC circular connector supports power through a compatible mains adapter, also sold separately. Both power options support the light’s full 120W output.
The integrated battery holder and release button help make battery installation and removal convenient during location shoots.
Ulanzi Connect App and 30m Remote Control
The Ulanzi Connect app for iOS and Android provides wireless control from up to 30 metres away. Adjust colour temperature, brightness, HSI colours, lighting effects, and light groups directly from your mobile device.
For multi-light setups, such as key, fill, and rim lighting, group control allows you to manage compatible lights together. An onboard LCD display and adjustment knob also provide direct manual control without using the app.
Bowens Mount Compatibility
The VL-120C features Bowens mount compatibility, allowing you to use compatible lighting modifiers such as softboxes, beauty dishes, and reflectors to shape the light for portraits, product photography, wedding films, and commercial productions.
